1. Maintain oral hygiene: As soon as you finish your food it is advised to gargle with lukewarm water. For good results add little common salt in the lukewarm water. Ensure you brush twice daily. It has been said that early morning brushing is for beauty and bed time brush is for good health.

2. Tongue Cleaning: In majority of cases bad breath occurs due to white and yellow coating on the tongue. So in order to control bad breath you are required to clean tongue regularly. Ensure you use tongue cleaner gently without damaging the taste buds.

3. Which food you take matters - It has been seen protein foods like meat, fish, eggs, milk etc are responsible for producing bad breath. Even if you take raw onion it can produce unpleasant smell. In order to control bad breath maintaining regularity in food timing is of utmost important. Moreover, chew spices like clove, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger etc which can help you control bad breath to some extent.
