It has been the effort of one and all to stay young and fit all the year round. Alas! This seems to be a herculean task. Diseases are powerful than we think. People are adopting various methods to stay young and want to bid adieu good bye to ageing. However, if you trail the following advice, it will help you live longer, feel good and younger, it is hard to mention all the strategies in a page or so but we have made some efforts that even if you follow a few strategies here you will definitely get idea to live younger and longer.
Exercise regularly — In your busy schedule, set apart some time for exercise during morning. Do aerobics, Yoga, stretching exercise, breathing, Tai Chi, Aikido, Qi Gong, weight bearing etc.
Sharpen your mind — You are aware when you age, you give invitation to various conditions like Alzheimer etc. In this situation it will be a good idea to do some mental exercise, which can enhance your thinking power and lower your risk of getting Alzheimer’s disease. Try different approaches, keep yourself busy, expand your mental horizons, learn some music instrument, and learn some ballroom dancing, read, play games and puzzles. Train your mind and don’t strain it.
Indulge in social activities — It is a well known fact that socially connected people live longer than those who remain isolated from the world. Cultivate intimacy with your partner as good sex is the panacea of all diseases, as it lowers blood pressure, promotes restful sleep and boosts immune system, which helps further to fight-off infection. Be a good listener, if you want to improve relationship, listen to your friend and mate, without any interruption and interpretation. Maintain eye contact in between and stay focused.
Think Positive — Did you know that optimists live longer than pessimists. Satisfied people in all walks of life live longer than those who are dissatisfied. Make it a habit to visit house of worship at least once a week, it will help you regain peace and add seven more years to your life compared to those who don’t visit.
Choose your food wisely — Avoid food which trigger diabetes like white bread, potatoes, breakfast cereals, muffins, white rice which has a very high CRP level. Women who ate such food were reported as overweight and had the highest and most dangerous CRO levels. Some of the good carbohydrates which you must include in your diet include beans, apples, broccoli, asparagus, blueberries, blackberries, citrus fruits, cabbage, honeydew mellow, kiwi, leafy green vegetables, peaches, raspberries, spinach, strawberries etc. Take the bad i.e. simple carbohydrates food items carefully in your diet: breads, bananas, carrots, cereals processed with added sugar, French fries, pasta, peas, white rice, potato, sugar, waffles etc.
